Our Clinical &
Academic Programmes
At NSA, we change the landscape of therapy in Ghana by placing play and child-led interests at the center of all our holistic offerings.
ABA Therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis)
ABA therapy is designed to help children learn new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and build independence. For example, if a child struggles with communication, ABA therapy might focus on teaching functional communication skills using visual supports, modeling, and reinforcement. Complex skills are broken down into manageable steps with consistent support.
Integrative Play Therapy
Our approach goes beyond traditional methods by combining play therapy with evidence-based techniques tailored to each child’s unique needs. Therapists use storytelling, role-playing, or art-based activities to help children process emotions and develop coping skills, particularly useful for managing anxiety and fostering emotional expression.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
OT addresses motor skills, impulse control, emotional regulation, and sensory processing. We focus on 'meaningful activities'—for children, this includes dressing, writing, and play. Our therapists work to strengthen weak skills and adapt environments to ensure every child can participate fully.
Speech & Language Therapy
We focus on improving communication through speech, signs, or assistive devices. Our specialists also address swallowing and feeding issues, ensuring that every child has the tools to express their needs and interact with their peers effectively.
Interest-Based Learning
We empower children to take an active role in their education by exploring topics that ignite their curiosity. By replacing traditional classroom lessons with hands-on projects based on their personal interests, we ensure children remain engaged, motivated, and excited to learn.
Nature-Based Learning
Blending academic excellence with nature-based learning to inspire curiosity, creativity, and environmental responsibility. We utilize our sensory gardens and outdoor learning spaces to make core subjects come alive through hands-on experience in the Ghanaian sunlight.
Wellness & Gut Health Intervention
Our Gut Health Intervention Protocols and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching address each child's unique needs with personalized dietary plans, supplements, and lifestyle modifications. Gut health therapy for autism and ADHD targets metabolic and immune imbalances, aiming to alleviate symptoms through lab testing and dietary adjustments — often resulting in noticeable improvements in focus, emotional regulation, and quality of life.
School Readiness Programme
Our School Readiness Programme equips neurodiverse children with the academic, social, and self-regulation skills needed to confidently transition into mainstream or specialist schools. Through structured routines, communication development, and targeted IEP milestones, we prepare each child for this critical next step — and we stay actively involved in the transition process alongside families and receiving schools.
